Bottle Size: 700ml
An Xtra Old Particular bottling of Aberlour singe malt, matured in a refill hogshead for 25 years, from June 1994 to August 2019. After quarter of a century of patient ageing, the whisky was independently bottled by Douglas Laing with an outturn of only 262 bottles.
Nose: Anticipate fleshy peaches and exotic spices on the nose developing to cookie dough and strawberry conserve.
Palate: The palate is thick and delicious with fruit compote, chocolate and rich, creamy barley.
Finish: The finish goes on and on... So sweet with waxy orange, brown sugar and lots of dried fruit.
