By Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 96
One of my favorite wines of all that I tasted from Argentina. The nose…slowly displays floral notes and aromas of ripe fruit, some spices and aromatic herbs. This is a wine to age, very concentrated, with high natural acidity.

Wine & Spirits 94
At first glance, this malbec feels loaded with nutty, liqueur-like flavor, superripe and sweetly voluptuous—in need of roasted game to balance its power. It transforms with a day of air, the fruit turning redder, livelier, full of nerve as well as depth. The structure is taut—a remarkably firm weave of acidity, minerals and tannins. Then the vibrant finish feels like a breath of fresh air. Catena’s Adrianna, planted in 1996, was the first vineyard to explore the sandy, stony and calcareous soils of Gualtallary, closing in on 5,000 feet in the heights of the Uco Valley.

Wine Spectator 93
Intense, fresh and concentrated, showing rich, vibrant raspberry tart, red plum and wild cherry flavors, with violet notes. Pure and minerally, with white pepper and citrus fruit accents on the finish.

Wine Enthusiast 92
This stylish wine opens with a floral, perfumed, high-altitude bouquet that shows red currant and raspberry aromas. Like the nose, the palate is fresh and not ponderous. Crisp raspberry and cassis flavors finish with freshness and elegance. Drink through 2020.
