By Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 90The NV Brut Classic (Lot LB117D00417 16 is based on vintage 2013 and includes 32% reserve wines) has a clear but rather simple bouquet that shows green walnut, salty licorice and ripe pear aromas. Fruity, quite sweet and round on the palate, with vineyard peach flavors, this is a mouthful of fruity yet rather loud Champagne. The Brut Classic blends 28% Chardonnay with 42% Pinot Noir and 30% Meunier and was aged on the lees in bottle for 30 months. My sample was disgorged on January 4, 2017, with a dosage of ten grams per liter.

A creamy and fresh NV with lightly cooked apple, some brioche, lemon rind and a fresh finish.

The elegance of this nonvintage cuvée sums up the style of the house, balancing acidity with a dosage that is just right. The white fruits and tangy edge are refreshing and intense.
