The 2007 Camarcanda is a rich, deep wine loaded with dark red fruit, espresso, mocha, licorice and tar. This is a decidedly more full-bodied effort, with superb depth, textural richness and body. Though more opulent and ripe than the 2008, it will probably take just as long to show the full breadth of its personality. Magari is 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc that spends 18 months in French oak barrels. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2022.
