Based on the 2019 vintage, Sélèque's lovely NV Extra-Brut Solessence Rosé offers up aromas of sweet red berries, warm biscuits, rose petals and peach. Medium to full-bodied, ample and pillowy, with a rich, fleshy core of fruit, lively acids and chalky phenolic structure, it's irritable today, though it will surely age with grace.

Some may consider this an eccentric rosé champagne, but we love the brightness of the red berry and summer flower aromas, then the very pure and precise palate that's super-straight thanks to the mineral acidity. A cuvee of 45% chardonnay, 40% pinot meunier, 15% pinot noir. 40% reserve wines from their perpetual reserve. Bottled unfiltered and unfined.
