Allen Meadows - Burghound 94

Here the intensely floral nose exhibits nuances of wet stone, citrus and pear while serving as a graceful foreword for the rich, detailed and solidly precise flavors that brim with an almost pungent minerality, all wrapped in a tension-filled, complex and notably dry finish. A classic Perrières. *Sweet Spot Outstanding*

Wine Spectator 94

Ripe and toasty, this white speaks volumes with its butterscotch, nutmeg and pear flavors, accented by citrus. Concentrated, rich and powerful, balanced on the muscular side, with terrific length on the finish. The breed and class really show here. Best from 2013 through 2022.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 92

There is delicacy and understatement to the 2009: touches of limestone, white peach and a light touch of honey. I do not think the 2010 has quite the complexity or nuance of the 2010. It remains well-balanced with spicier, slightly more viscous fruit than the succeeding vintage, with an assertive tropical fruit-tinged finish. Very fine, but the 2010 has more class and better expression of terroir. Drink 2014-2023. Tasted December 2012.
