Domaine Roulot

Domaine Roulot took root in Meursault as early as the 1820s, initially operating solely as a brandy producer. The estate was managed by Mr. Guy Roulot until his passing in 1982. Following his death, three managers took charge of operations and winemaking.

In pursuit of an acting career in Paris, Mr. Jean-Marc Roulot, the son, returned to the winery to work alongside his sister. Despite his limited knowledge of wine at the time, he decided to study winemaking and applied the knowledge gained through experience and education upon his return.

Currently, his sister is primarily responsible for exports while he focuses on winemaking. The quality of the wines produced by Domaine Roulot is exceptional, leading it to become one of the four greats of Meursault. If one is considering wines such as "Coche Dury Meursault Les Perrieres" or "Domaine D’Auvenay Chaumes des Perries," choosing Roulot is definitely a wise decision. Their wines are truly remarkable and stand out as a testament to Burgundian white wines.
