M. Chapoutier

. Chapoutier is a well-known and large wine merchant in France, producing up to six million bottles annually. It is currently led by the fifth-generation descendant, Michel Chapoutier, who took over in 1989. Back in the day, he was friends with biodynamic advocates Leroy and Nicolas Joly, which led him to embrace biodynamic winemaking practices, resulting in a significant improvement in the quality of their wines. M. Chapoutier owns approximately 32 hectares of vineyards, with over half of them dedicated to Syrah. They also cultivate "Marsanne" for producing Ermitage Blanc and blending into red wines.

Within the single vineyard Ermitage, influenced by E. Guigal's Cote Rotie La La La, they have introduced Le Le Le, comprising Le Meal, Le Pavillon, and L'Ermite. They produce around 5,000 bottles annually of both red and white wines from vines nearly a century old, crafting full-bodied, refined, and smooth wines.
