Patrick Piuze

Maison Patrick Piuze was established by Patrick Piuze, who was born in Canada in 1973. Patrick never imagined he would one day enter the world of wine until he met his mentor, Marc Chapoutier, which sparked his journey of wine exploration. He positioned himself as an advisor, offering practical advice to grape growers from a winemaker's perspective, allowing each vineyard to showcase its terroir and maintain consistent quality.

The estate produces Chablis from four different vineyards and six different Grands Crus, including Les Preuses and Grenouilles. They also have wines sourced from 11 premier cru vineyards. Despite being established only a few years ago, Maison Patrick Piuze quickly gained attention from various circles. Several wines from the 2009 vintage received scores of over 90 points from Robert Parker. In Allen Meadows' 2011 report published in Burghound, a Burgundy-focused wine review publication, Patrick Piuze achieved an average score of 90 points, with several wines receiving exceptionally high ratings of 94-96 points.
