Bottled in March of this year, the 2021 Pinot Blanc Haus Klosterberg is intensely floral and finely slatey on the intense but elegant and balanced nose. Full-bodied, round and lush on the palate, this is a charmingly fruity, not bone-dry Pinot with balance, salinity and elegance. This is where Pinot Blanc is clearly influenced by Riesling, like how Robert Parker influenced the style of Bordeaux in the 1990s. 11.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted from AP 161 23 in May 2023.
