This has rich stone-fruit aromas and a touch of something exotic, the balance of fruit and mineral freshness very impressive, the power and concentration underplayed until you get to the long, complete finish, where they show their hand strongly. Drink or hold.

Wine Spectator 93
Still a bit compacted, this shows both richness and precision, with pronounced lemon and grapefruit flavors that are mouthwatering and rich. Reveals a citrus-edged bitterness that adds nice contrast, while crushed mineral elements impart a chalky texture. Packing a lot of stuffing in a linear frame, this is definitely one for the cellar. Best from 2025 through 2040.

Wine Enthusiast 93
This is all about its corduroy-like texture at this stage; layers peel off with air. It starts with subtle notes of flint and matchstick, then mixing in fresh quince, nectarine, green pear and lemon-curd flavors, with a long finish. The acidity needs a few years to fully integrate, but this has an admirable potential.
