Dry River

Dry River, founded in 1979 by Dawn McCallum and Dr. Neil, is located in the Martinborough region of New Zealand. It is considered a pioneer of New Zealand wines. The vineyard spans 11.77 hectares and is divided into three blocks. The focus is on preserving old vines and carefully controlling yields to ensure optimal ripeness and mature fruit flavors. The aging potential of Dry River wines has been consistently proven.

In a tasting event with renowned wine expert Bob Campbell in 2004 (later published in the 19th issue of World's Finest Wines magazine in 2008), the 1989 vintage of Dry River Pinot Noir impressed Campbell with its high maturity and remarkable aging potential. The wines from Dry River continually demonstrate their ability to age gracefully.
