Almaviva

Almaviva is a collaboration between Château Mouton-Rothschild, one of the five First Growths of Bordeaux, and Chilean winery Concha y Toro. It is the first ultra-premium Chilean red wine resulting from this partnership. The objective of this collaboration is to combine the excellent vineyards, soils, and climate of Chile with the expertise of French winemaking techniques to produce the highest quality Chilean red wine.Château Mouton-Rothschild is responsible for the winemaking process, leveraging their renowned expertise. As a result, Almaviva represents a Bordeaux-style red wine primarily made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, blended with the unique Chilean Carmenere grape and Cabernet Franc. This blend gives Almaviva the distinction of being known as the "King of Chilean wines."
