Ao Yun is a wine brand that was established in 2008 by a group of ambitious young individuals. It is situated in a vineyard located in the Himalayas, surrounded by floating clouds, at altitudes ranging from approximately 2,200 to 2,600 meters. The young winemaking team is determined, visionary, hardworking, and passionate. They collaborate with local farmers in Tibet to create Ao Yun, bringing this new grape-growing region in Yunnan, China, into the world of wine.The winery is situated on steep high-altitude slopes, and the local farmers employ traditional cultivation techniques. Every step of the process is done by hand. Along with the unique climatic conditions, which resemble those of Bordeaux in France, they produce exceptional wines that reflect the terroir of the region.
