Edradour

Edradour 10 was established in 1825 under the name "Glenforres." It wasn't until 1834, after a reconstruction, that the distillery was renamed "Edradour." At that time, the annual production of the distillery was less than 100,000 liters. Over the years, Edradour changed hands several times. In 1982, it was acquired by the French wine and spirits giant, Pernod Ricard. Later, it was purchased by Andrew Symington, one of the principals of the independent bottler Signatory, who continued to develop different expressions of the whisky.The name "Edradour" translates to "between two rivers" in Gaelic. It is located in the central part of the Highland region in Scotland. Edradour is known as the smallest distillery in Scotland, with only one pair of stills. It prides itself on preserving traditional production methods and focuses on producing small-batch, high-quality whiskies.
