In recent years, the wine industry in Japan has seen a significant leap in development, with many passionate individuals working together to expand and develop the industry. There are also wineries that have been producing wine for over 140 years, such as "Grace Wine," which was established in 1923 in Katsunuma, Yamanashi prefecture, the center of Japanese wine production. In 1990, they introduced European grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. Today, the backbone of the winery is Ayana Misawa, the daughter of the president, who at only 30 years old dares to innovate and is not bound by tradition or shortcuts. She holds a winemaking degree from both France and Japan and has worked and exchanged ideas with renowned wineries around the world. The wines are not only traditional Japanese style, but have also won numerous international awards and received high praise from many famous wine experts, including wine master Jancis Robinson. The wines have even been featured in the drama "Grand Maison Tokyo" starring Takuya Kimura, where they are paired with a variety of French dishes that incorporate both European and Japanese ingredients, making them extremely popular. Many people have tried and praised the wines.
