Bindi

"Bindi is located in the Macedon Ranges of Victoria, Australia. The winery was established in 1991 and is currently owned by the "Bhillon" family. In the 1950s, a portion of the Bundaleer Farm was acquired, which eventually became the Bindi estate.

The estate covers a vast expanse of 170 hectares, with its most notable focus on Chardonnay, which has garnered numerous prestigious awards. Only 6 hectares are dedicated to the cultivation of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The winery emphasizes a natural and harmonious style, staying true to its winemaking philosophy.

Soon after its establishment, Bindi caught the attention of renowned Australian wine critic James Halliday. Upon tasting the wines, James Halliday exclaimed, "For Gisborne, this is a new winery, but its momentum is extraordinary." Particularly, Bindi's Chardonnay has earned a place among Australia's top wines, while the Pinot Noir has also impressed, being rated as "Excellent" within the Langton classification, alongside several other top Australian wines. Bindi is definitely a winery worth exploring in Victoria's Gisborne region."
