Chateau Cherubin is crafted by Bertrand Bourdil, a legend in the winemaking world. He made a name for himself by producing two classic vintages, "1982" and "1986," at Chateau Mouton before leaving in 1993 to become a consultant. He has since retired and now focuses solely on his own wine at Chateau Cherubin. The estate's vineyards come from a very special 2.5-hectare plot nestled within Chateau Angelus vineyards.

This vineyard is rare, bearing similarities to Chateau Petrus and Chateau La Conseillante, featuring traces of crasse de fer soil that adds layers to the wine.
