Grosset Winery is located in the southern end of the renowned wine region, Clare Valley, in Australia. It is considered one of Australia's most outstanding wineries. The Riesling wines produced here are considered benchmarks of top-quality white wines in Australia. The winery was established in 1981 by the renowned Australian winemaker Jeffrey Grosset, known for his innovative and non-conformist approach.Jeffrey's passion for wine began at a young age, and he developed a unique perspective on winemaking. He pursued formal education in winemaking at a professional wine school in Australia and gained valuable experience working in various wineries. Throughout his career, Jeffrey has maintained a meticulous approach to winemaking, striving to elevate Australian Riesling wines to new heights. He was also one of the early pioneers in Australia to embrace the use of screw caps for wine closures.Jeffrey Grosset's dedication and expertise have earned him recognition in the industry. In 1998, he was elected as the "International Riesling Winemaker of the Year" at the Riesling Summit in Hamburg, Germany. In 2006, he was selected by Decanter magazine as one of the "World's Top 10 White Winemakers" and was listed among the "50 Most Influential Winemakers" by Wine & Spirits magazine.
