Clos L'Eglise

Clos L'Eglise, founded in the 18th century, is one of the oldest estates in Pomerol. The estate spans approximately 6 hectares and has changed hands multiple times over the years. The vineyard's geographical location is exceptional, with perfect slopes, ample sunlight, and ideal soil structure that cultivates highly concentrated Merlot grapes.During the grape harvesting process, the grapes are handpicked, and traditional winemaking methods are employed. Manual grape stomping is used, and in the exceptional vintage of 2000, which is considered a classic Bordeaux vintage, the wine quality is guaranteed and highly worthy of cellaring and collecting.
