Alain Brune

Alain Brune winery is located in Burgundy. At the age of 20, he arrived in Burgundy, which might surprise you, but what's even more surprising is that he started learning winemaking at the young age of 14. He began his journey in the smallest grape-growing region in France, Jura, which is also one of the smallest AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) regions in the country. Despite its small size, Jura is an ancient grape-growing region that dates back to the Middle Ages when monks settled there. Alain not only started learning winemaking at a young age but also had the opportunity to study under a master in the field, Pierre Overnoy, the "Godfather of Jura wines." Pierre Overnoy, who is now 87 years old, is a winemaker dedicated to producing natural wines. He passed on his natural winemaking techniques to Alain, who then embarked on his own winemaking journey.

When Alain arrived in Burgundy, he began his winemaking adventure and, at the age of 27, became a small wine merchant. His wines are known for their natural approach, with no intervention, clarification, or filtration. The aim is to showcase the true essence of Burgundy's terroir, capturing its richness and diversity. His wines are produced in limited quantities and have never been exported anywhere, making them rare but incredibly vibrant and diverse.
