The Bichot family's origins in Burgundy date back to 1831 when Bernard Bichot established a wine trading company in Monthélie under his name. The family business has deep roots in Beaune, the heart of Burgundy's wine production. Albéric Bichot, the current owner, took over the company in 1996. While he respects the family traditions, he strongly believes that the quality of wine depends on the quality of the grapes.Due to Albéric Bichot's passion for crafting wines that express their terroir and vintage, the family's vineyards have been recognized by UNESCO and included in the World Heritage List. This has brought great honor to the family.
