Allegrini

The Allegrini family has been operating in a small village in Valpolicella, a renowned wine region in northern Italy's Veneto, for several generations. One of their most famous wines is Amarone, which is crafted using a unique winemaking method. The process involves selecting the four sunniest bunches of grapes from each vine and then placing them on racks to dry for three to four months. After the drying period, the grapes are pressed and fermented, followed by aging in 100% new oak barrels for approximately five years. As a result, Amarone typically has an alcohol content of 15% or higher. Due to its limited production and high demand, it can be challenging to find outside of Italy and the United States.
