Andremily

Andremily is a wine label created by two esteemed veterans of the renowned American cult winery, Sine Qua Non: Jim and Rachel. They had spent over a decade assisting the owners of Sine Qua Non, Manfred and Elaine Krankl. Eventually, they successfully secured contracts for the finest grape sources in the Santa Barbara area, including grapes used by Sine Qua Non. This marked the beginning of their journey in crafting their own wines.

The name "Andremily" is derived from their children's names, Andrew and Emily. They work with grape varieties commonly found in the Rhône Valley of France, such as Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and a blend they refer to as EABA. As experienced farmers, they have a deep understanding of the optimal grape harvesting time when the grapes express their best qualities. The grapes are known for their richness and intensity. The winemaking process includes cold soaking and fermentation, followed by maturation in 60-70% new French oak barrels for an extended period ranging from 22 to 28 months. This extended aging contributes to the wine's remarkable aging potential.
