Antica Terra

Founded in 1989, Antica Terra is located in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA of Oregon, USA. Initially, the winery produced small quantities of Pinot Noir. However, in 2005, after acquiring its own vineyard and establishing its brand, the winery began to evolve significantly. The turning point came with the arrival of Maggie Harrison, an experienced winemaker who had previously served as assistant winemaker at the renowned Sine Qua Non. Maggie brought a unique vision to Antica Terra, ensuring the wines are both thought-provoking and deeply meaningful, blending precision with soul.

Vineyard and Production
The vineyard spans approximately 5 hectares (12 acres), with an annual production of only 1,500 to 2,500 cases, making Antica Terra’s wines highly sought after. Among their exceptional offerings:

"Botanica" Pinot Noir: Crafted from the finest single-vineyard grapes in the best vintages.
"Aequorin" Pinot Noir: A high-end wine produced only in select years, making it a rare and exclusive release.
