The Ayme Vadim winery was established in 2015 by a talented individual named Vadim Sidorovitch, who holds a PhD in molecular biology. This series of wines represents the winery's first vintage and is dedicated to crafting exquisite grand cru wines in the heart of Burgundy. Vadim is a scholar from a medical family, and his path seemed destined for the pursuit of science, seemingly disconnected from the world of wine. However, fate often surprises us. In his academic career, after obtaining a master's degree in biochemistry, he delved into the mysteries of molecular biology at the renowned Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology. When choosing a topic for his thesis, he unexpectedly chose genetic engineering of wine yeast. He then sought knowledge far and wide, eventually finding himself in the hallowed halls of Harvard Medical School, where his curiosity about wine was ignited by a precious book titled "The Taste of Wine." This book officially led him to the world of winemaking.

Although he is German and does not speak French, after years of research, Vadim still believed that France was the most enchanting place. In 2010, he settled in Burgundy and studied at a local wine school. He further honed his expertise through extensive research at the University of Burgundy and the Dijon Wine Institute. Collaborating with respected winemakers, all of his wines are unfiltered and bottled by hand. The bottling time is meticulously aligned with the positions of the celestial bodies and atmospheric pressure, showcasing his unwavering commitment to crafting wines that embody the unique terroir and winemaking traditions of Burgundy. With the first vintage already commanding a high price, it is believed that Ayme Vadim will become another shining star in Burgundy.
