Bell Hill

Bell Hill, founded by Marcel Giesen and Sherwyn Veldhuizen in 1997, is regarded as one of New Zealand's top Pinot Noir producers. Located in Canterbury, in the central part of the South Island, the estate encompasses a mere 2.4 hectares of vineyards. Within this small area, the vineyard features pure limestone and calcium-rich clay soils, exclusively dedicated to the cultivation of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Bell Hill is committed to organic biodynamic farming practices and obtained organic certification from BioGro in 2015. In 2016, James Suckling ranked Bell Hill Pinot Noir from the 2013 vintage as the top wine in his list of the top ten New Zealand wines, awarding it an exceptional score of 98 points. Inspired by the reverence for Burgundy, Bell Hill focuses devotedly on crafting exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines.
