Bond

Bond is a winery located in Oakville, Napa Valley, very close to Harlan Estate. Bond is actually a sister project of Harlan Estate and was developed over a 25-year period. From over 60 vineyards, they carefully selected five of the highest quality vineyards to produce five wines that resemble single vineyard or grand cru-style wines. These wines are known as "Pluribus," "Quella," "Melbury," "St Eden," and "Vecina." Each vineyard produces a limited quantity of approximately 3,000 to 5,000 bottles, and each wine has its own unique style and characteristics.

The Bond wines are often compared to the wines of the Left Bank of Bordeaux in terms of their overall feel. However, each wine in the series has its own distinct style. The recently introduced member of the Bond series is "Quella," a vineyard with a lower elevation but facing south. It showcases enchanting, delicate blue fruit aromas and unique notes of sandalwood. "Quella" wines can be enjoyed at an earlier stage of their development."Melbury," on the other hand, has a slightly larger vineyard area of around two hectares and benefits from exceptional growing conditions in St. Helena. The grapes are harvested separately, aiming for optimal balance. "Melbury" wines are characterized by their rich red berry flavors and hints of violet. They exhibit elegance, refinement, and possess excellent aging potential.
