After the 1855 classification, it was classified as a Second Growth estate in the Margaux appellation. The estate spans approximately 75 hectares and possesses one of the finest terroirs in Margaux.The goal of Chateau Brane Cantenac is to produce top-quality wines that reflect the excellence of its terroir. The vineyard is planted with 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 4.5% Cabernet Franc, and 0.5% Carmenere.
