Cambria Estate Winery is a relatively young American winery, founded in 1986 and located in Santa Maria, California. In the early days, the Santa Maria region was known as "Tepuztli," meaning "place of copper coins." The Spanish translation, "Tepusquet," became widely recognized. Many believed that this area was an exceptional grape-growing region. In 1986, Barbara Banke acquired the Tepusquet Winery, which later became known as Cambria Estate Winery. Over the course of more than 20 years, the winery has expanded and continually planted new clone varieties, aiming to make the best use of the excellent and unique climate conditions of the land.

The winery specializes in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, considering them the best grapes to showcase the local terroir. Everyone within the winery sees it not just as a vineyard or winery but as their own home. They cherish everything surrounding them. With four distinct vineyards and excellent cultivation techniques, Cambria Estate Winery continues to produce outstanding wines.

These efforts have gained recognition worldwide, with the winery being awarded "Vineyard of the Year" by Wine & Spirit Magazine in 2003.
