Camille Thiriet

Camille Thiriet's winery is located in the small town of Comblachien, with a population of less than 800. Camille Thiriet previously worked at the DRC vineyard. During the winery's inaugural harvest season, the head winemaker of DRC, Bernard Noblet, personally imparted his winemaking expertise. Camille's husband, Matt Chittick, also serves as the head winemaker at Domaine de Villaine, founded by the owner of DRC.

Established in 2016, Maison Thiriet is situated opposite Château de Comblanchien in Côte-d'Or, at the heart of Côte-de-Nuits. Canadian winemaker Matt Chittick and Burgundian Camille Thiriet bring years of experience in production and sales to produce Burgundy wines under their own label.

Camille and Matt crossed paths while working at Bellene winery, where Matt was the winemaker from 2011 to 2014, and Camille was responsible for sales. Their time at Bellene exposed them to many renowned grape growers in the Côte d'Or region. Camille, a talented young woman, crafts Burgundian garage wines and is an emerging winemaker not to be missed. Enthusiasts of Burgundy wines absolutely need to know her.
