Chateau du Moulin-a-Vent

Chateau du Moulin-a-Vent, established in 1732, is located in the eastern part of the Beaujolais wine region in France, specifically in the Les Thorins area of the village Romanèche-Thorins. The estate takes its name from the iconic stone windmill situated on the property. The vineyards of Chateau du Moulin-a-Vent currently cover 25 hectares of land.The vineyards are planted on pink granite and soft, laminated quartz soils, which contribute to the unique characteristics of the wines produced. The wines from Chateau du Moulin-a-Vent exhibit deep ruby or garnet colors and are known for their complex and refined structure.
