Christian Gros

Christian Gros was born into two prominent families in Burgundy: "La Famille Gros" and "La Famille Faiveley." Both families have been involved in winemaking since the 18th century. In the mid-20th century, Andre Gros and Renee Faiveley decided to marry, combining their winemaking legacies. Their son, Christian Gros, grew up in the vineyards and developed a passion for wine. In 1989, he had a transformative experience tasting a 60-year-old wine from his family's estate, which inspired him to pursue his winemaking dreams. He established his own winery, carrying on the family's winemaking tradition.

In 2018, Christian entrusted the winery to his two sons. Julien Gros, who is deeply passionate about wine, took on the responsibility of winemaking. Before assuming this role, he gained valuable experience working at Domaine Paul Misset and Chateau de Beaucastel in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Nicolas, the other son, is in charge of the vineyards and management.

The two brothers are committed to seeking sustainable development practices. They refrain from using herbicides and minimize human interference, aiming to protect and cherish the vineyards. With patience and careful attention, they produce rounded and aromatic wines of great quality.
