Coquard Loison Fleurot

The key figure at the winery is winemaker Thomas Colladot, who worked at Domaine Sylvain Cathiard for many years and developed a close friendship with the owner, Sébastien Cathiard. Sébastien has said that Coquard Loison Fleurot is the winery to watch in the future, not only because of Thomas' refined winemaking skills but also because he owns six prestigious vineyard plots: Grands Echezeaux, Echezeaux, Clos de Vougeot, Charmes Chambertin, Clos de la Roche, and Clos Saint Denis. The year 2017 was particularly remarkable for the winery, as it received high praise from wine experts Jasper Morris MW and Neal Martin. In fact, Clos de La Roche surpassed Armand Rousseau's Grands Echézeaux and Echézeaux, putting it on par with Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC).
