David & Nadia is a winery located in the South African "Swartland" region, co-founded by a couple, "David & Nadia". David originally was a professional rugby player, persuaded by his father, eventually pursued studies in viticulture and winemaking at the University of Stellenbosch. It's a very romantic love story where the two met during their studies, with wine being the common thread that brought them together. They got married in 2009 and began crafting wines that belonged to both of them in 2010. Together, they worked towards becoming "Swartland Independent Producers", meeting like-minded grape growers and winemakers, showcasing the terroir of Swartland.

They strictly adhere to guidelines: using natural yeast, refraining from adding any acidifiers, tannins, and using only European oak barrels, which have significantly elevated the quality and reputation of Swartland. The winery advocates for a natural approach, showcasing the most authentic side, with abundant old vines. Harvest times vary for each vineyard, and their wines typically involve grapes from over ten vineyards, aged in old French oak barrels to exhibit an added touch of elegance. This requires extensive knowledge. They also offer "Single Vineyard" wines, which are rich in character, both in reds and whites, with a captivating transparency that makes them irresistible after just one taste.
