Domaine A

Domaine A was founded in 1989 by Ruth and Althaus in Tasmania, Australia's southern region. Tasmania is a wine region blessed with unique geographical advantages. It is surrounded by mountains, experiences low annual rainfall, and benefits from significant diurnal temperature variations. These conditions contribute to the cultivation of high-quality grapes that have ample time to ripen, resulting in wines with exceptional complexity.

Domaine A has gained international recognition, particularly for its flagship wine, Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery itself is located in Tasmania and was awarded the highest rating of five red stars by renowned Australian wine critic James Halliday in 2010. Among over a hundred wines, only three were selected for this prestigious honor, and Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon was one of them. It not only received the top five-star rating but was also listed in the book "1001 Wines You Must Try Before You Die." In 2011, the winery was further acclaimed with the "Best of Best" designation. Esteemed wine critics such as Jancis Robinson and Robert Parker WA have highly praised Domaine A, with former Chairman of the Institute of Masters of Wine, Anthony Foster, hailing it as "the finest wine in the world."
