Established in 1999 by Antoine Foucault and Caroline Boireau, Domaine du Collier has rapidly ascended to a rank among the top producers in the Loire Valley. As the son of the late Charly Foucault of the legendary Clos Rougeard, Antoine brings a pedigree of excellence to his 7-hectare estate in the prestigious Brézé plateau.

The domaine is celebrated for its uncompromising commitment to organic viticulture and a "non-interventionist" philosophy. Utilizing ancient, labyrinthine tuffeau caves, the wines undergo slow, natural fermentations and extended aging (up to 36 months) with minimal sulfur.

The crown jewel of the estate is the 'La Charpentrie' parcel, featuring Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc vines aged over 100 years. These wines are defined by their crystalline purity, profound mineral tension, and extraordinary aging potential. While Clos Rougeard set the standard, Domaine du Collier has carved its own identity, producing some of the most sought-after, terroir-driven wines in Saumur today. For collectors, these bottles represent the pinnacle of artisanal Loire winemaking.
