The Domino de Aguila winery was founded and run by Jorge Monzó, and his winemaking journey began in 1999. What is truly remarkable is that he started as an apprentice winemaker at the prestigious Romanée Conti winery, making him a very talented young man. After a period of further education, he was even hired by the Spanish wine king, Vega Sicilia estate, due to his experience and expertise. Jorge Monzón is an outstanding young man, and his dream has always been to have his own winery. This dream was finally realized in 2010, and the label represents his pursuit. Most of the vineyards at Dominio del Aguila are old vines, and they use organic methods. Their wines are mostly blends, making them unique, and many people have described them as refreshing, delicate, smooth, and with a rich aroma, similar to elegant Burgundy Pinot Noir.
