Dujac

In 1968, Jacques Seysses, the founder of Dujac, acquired the estate located in Morey-St Denis. Over the course of more than 30 years, the vineyard has expanded from 4.5 hectares to approximately 15 hectares, with 7 premier cru vineyards and 6 grand cru vineyards. Like renowned estates such as DRC, Leroy, and de Montille, Dujac practices whole cluster fermentation, including the stems. This technique, which retains the stems during fermentation, tends to result in slightly lighter color but with an elegant and aromatic profile characterized by notes of cinnamon and cloves, exuding a captivating allure. Dujac's performance in outstanding vintages is on par with that of DRC, leading to its reputation as the "little DRC."
