Francesco Versio

Francesco Versio has always been passionate about grape growing during his studies, so he majored in viticulture and winemaking. He has worked as a cellar manager and winemaker at Bruno Giacosa, a winery in Barolo that is on par with the renowned DRC wines from Burgundy. He then traveled around, working as a winemaker. In 2012, he produced 2600 bottles of Barbaresco from his family's two vineyards and sold them, using the profits to upgrade his own winery. While making wine for his own label, he also worked at Giacomo Oddero and Curra wineries as a winemaker. His talents were gradually recognized in the wine industry, and in 2015, he was named Young Winemaker of the Year in Italy. Despite his young age, he has gained high recognition and expectations, and his wines today are already at a masterful level, showcasing his finesse and skill.
