Francois d’ Allaines

Francois d'Allaines, the owner of the winery, originally had a background in the service industry. However, he discovered a passion for wine and embarked on a journey in winemaking. After a three-year journey, during which he refined his tasting skills and knowledge, he established his own company in 1990. He began buying and selling high-quality wines that he personally deemed worthy. Six years later, he started growing his own grapes and producing his own wines. He personally handles every step of the winemaking process with the aim of creating the best expression of terroir. The wines from the estate have an open and inviting aroma, exhibiting a gentle and delicate character with lovely mineral notes. They represent boutique Burgundy wines that showcase the unique terroir.
