Hancock & Hancock

Hancock & Hancock was founded in 2007 by two wine industry veterans, Chris Hancock and John Hancock, as a return to their family roots. Chris graduated from Roseworthy Agricultural College with a winemaking degree after 63 years of age and worked at "Penfolds." He now serves as the executive chairman of the estate. The winery is known for its creativity and breaking conventions.

The Hancock & Hancock McLaren Vale Sparkling Shiraz is a unique wine. It is made from black grape varieties and matured individually in old French oak barrels. Before bottling, the wine undergoes blending and spends 24 months aging on lees. This sparkling Shiraz exhibits a marvelous deep red foam, intense aromas of blackberry, sweet spice, and hints of pepper. It has a silky tannin structure, richness, and a velvety smooth texture reminiscent of velvet. The lingering finish leaves a lasting impression.
