Haut Brisson

Chateau Haut Brisson's vineyards are located in the renowned Saint Emilion appellation. The excellent soil composition consists mainly of sand and small gravel with rich iron content. Mr. Guo, a Chinese investor, was inspired by the previous owner, Mr. Moulinet's passion for the wine industry and purchased the estate for his daughter in 1997. At that time, the vineyard covered ten hectares, which was expanded by an additional three hectares in 2003.Haut Brisson Estate refrains from using insecticides, and the grapes are meticulously handpicked and undergo strict selection before fermentation in small stainless steel tanks. The wines then rest in 100% new French oak barrels for fifteen to nineteen months. The estate benefits from the expertise of Michel Rolland as a consulting winemaker. While adhering to traditional winemaking techniques, Chateau Haut Brisson combines modern technology, resulting in high praise from internationally acclaimed wine critics such as Guide Parker and Guide Hachette.
