Henri Bourgeois, a winery that dates back ten generations, has expanded from just 2 hectares in 1950 to 65 hectares of vineyards today. With their extensive experience in producing Sancerre, they have a deep understanding of Sauvignon Blanc. Combining tradition with modern technology, they focus on single vineyard wines, particularly in the renowned village of Chavignol.

Their vineyards in Chavignol benefit from excellent terroir, including good drainage and sun exposure. The predominant soil type is a mix of chalk and flint, which imparts lively acidity and unique grassy notes to the wines. The wines also exhibit refreshing citrus flavors, mineral characteristics, and a distinctive flinty aroma. With aging, they develop honeyed and smoky notes, resulting in a rounded and smooth mouthfeel.
