Heritiers Du Comte Lafon

In 1999, the renowned Burgundy estate Domaine des Comtes Lafon expanded its territory to Maconnais. Their wines are sold under the name "Héritiers du Comte Lafon," translating to "Heirs of Count Lafon." The vineyards cover approximately 21 hectares, and under the leadership of winemaker Caroline Gon, a highly intelligent woman, the vineyards are cultivated and vinified using biodynamic practices. All grapes are hand-harvested.

The entry-level wines, which are more affordably priced, are fermented in stainless steel tanks, while the higher quality wines are matured in large oak barrels, showcasing a more complex and layered profile. Domaine des Comtes Lafon has been known for offering Burgundy white wines that offer great value for their quality, becoming a favorite among wine enthusiasts. It is considered a must-have wine for many during the summer months.
