Jean Jacques Confuron Winery is located in "Nuit Saint Georges." In 1988, Sophie Confuron and Alain Meunier, a married couple, took over the winery and started growing and producing wine. The winery covers about 8 hectares, including two high-quality Grand Cru vineyards: "Clos de Vougeot" and "Romanee St-Vivant," as well as Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanee, which are premier cru vineyards. The Romanee St-Vivant vineyard is situated between Leroy and DRC vineyards, with one to the north and the other to the south. Wine master Clive Coates has given the winery very high ratings.

The winery operates in a "Biodynamic" manner, possibly influenced by the neighboring atmosphere. They focus their energy on the grapes. The winemaking process involves whole-cluster fermentation, cold soaking, and a high proportion of new barrels. The usage of new barrels can reach up to 40% for Bourgogne-level wines, 50% for Village wines, and 80% for Premium and Grand Cru wines.
