Jean-Paul Benoit Droin

Jean-Paul Benoit Droin is a winery with a nearly 400-year history in Chablis. They own several renowned vineyards, and Benoit Droin, the fourteenth generation of the family, took over the management and winemaking. They primarily use stainless steel tanks for vinification but also carefully and selectively incorporate some oak barrels. The wines produced under Benoit Droin's guidance are fresher and cleaner compared to his father's era, showcasing the distinct characteristics of each vineyard. It has become one of the elite wineries in Chablis and was selected by LA REVUE DU VIN DE FRANCE as one of the 50 greatest white wine estates in Burgundy, awarded the highest three-star classification. Their wines, including Montrachet from Bouchard Pere & Fils, and Meursault Perrieres from Coche-Dury, have gained recognition as exceptional white wine selections.
