Kaesler, located in the Barossa Valley, has been producing wines in the region since as early as 1893. Due to being spared from the phylloxera plague 75 years ago, it boasts the oldest vineyard plantings in the world. The estate predominantly features grapevines that are over a century old, with their logo proudly showcasing these old vines. The dry vineyard conditions result in low yields, leading to minimal production but exceptionally high-quality wines.

The Old Bastard Shiraz stands as the flagship wine of the estate, crafted from Shiraz vines over a hundred years old from a single vineyard. This wine is highly sought after and rare. Aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels, it is bottled unfiltered to preserve the authentic expression of the terroir. The Bogan Shiraz is sourced mainly from vines planted in 1899, with a small portion from vines planted in 1976. All grapes are hand-harvested, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and aged for 12 months in a blend of 80% American oak and 20% French oak barrels. Bottled without filtration or clarification, it retains its full flavor profile. Australian wine expert James Halliday has awarded Kaesler Winery the highest five-star rating in the "Australian Wine Companion." Renowned wine critic Robert Parker has also highly praised the winery's products, with over 80% scoring above 90 points.

Kaesler Stonehorse Shiraz is made from fruit harvested from 60-year-old vines and aged for 15 months in oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered and unclarified to maintain its full flavor profile, this wine aims to present consumers with sweet fruit aromas and an elegant style, free from overpowering oak influences. The vintage received a commendable score of 92 from Robert Parker.
