Louis Brochet is also a very long-standing Champagne house, founded in 1881 and currently in its 5th generation. The estate owns 50 plots of land in the Champagne region. Since its founder, Marie Arsène Brochet, the estate has only selected the best vineyards that have shown outstanding growth and adaptation to the terroir for at least three consecutive years, ensuring the quality of the vineyard plantations.

The Cuveé Alain series is a tribute from the current owner to his father and is only released in excellent vintages. The grapes for this series come from the Sacy Grand Cru vineyard and the Ecueil Premier Cru vineyard, which are named after the owner's parents. The vines are 30 years old, and the soil is primarily composed of limestone. In terms of winemaking, the blend consists of a high proportion of Pinot Noir, reaching 64%, while Chardonnay comprises 36%. Chardonnay does not undergo malolactic fermentation to preserve acidity. 10% of the wine is matured in large 300-liter oak barrels, while Pinot Noir undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged on lees for approximately 6 years before being released to the market, allowing consumers to experience the deliciousness of the wine.

Chardonnay brings out aromas of apple, pear, peach, candied lemon, almond, and hazelnut, exhibiting crisp acidity and balance. Pinot Noir contributes violet, spice, and red fruit flavors, as well as a round texture. Only a small amount of sugar is added, and the wines are suitable for aging, highlighting the flavors of the vineyard plots.
