Markus Molitor

Markus Molitor winery was founded in 1899 and is located in the Mosel region of Germany. In 1984, at the age of 20, Markus took over the family winery and became the eighth generation owner of Markus Molitor. Since then, he has actively acquired vineyards, and the current results are more than double what he had when he took over in 1984. Most of the vineyards have a steep slope of 80 degrees and are planted in a terraced manner. The grapes are hand-picked, ensuring strict quality. The vines in the vineyards are mainly over 60 years old, and some are even over 100 years old. The winery is now a renowned producer of Pinot Noir and Riesling in Germany. The winery has its own classification for the grapes harvested, including basic, village, premier cru, one-star, two-star, and three-star quality levels, which can be seen on their labels with the *** symbol.
